Catch Basin & Sewer Protection

Siltsack® is a sediment control device used during construction that mounts under the grate in catch basins. Siltsack® is made of a permeable geotextile that allows water to pass but prevents silt and sediment from clogging the drain system.

Filter Bags
Whenever accumulated water on a construction site must be pumped, utilize Filter Bags to ensure the water is properly filtered of silt and sediment prior to discharge into receiving bodies. Filter Bags are constructed of strong, high quality nonwoven geotextile filter fabric with a fill port to accommodate a pump discharge hose. The filter bags permit a controlled outflow of water, while retaining harmful pollutants.

Curb Inlet and Drain Filters
Inlet protection devices provide cost effective solutions that prevent silt and sediment from the construction site from entering the storm water collection system. ACF has products that work with both catch basins and curb inlets.

Detention / Retention Systems

CULTEC chambers may be used as replacements for large diameter pipe and stone systems and retention/detention ponds for subsurface management of stormwater. CULTEC provides a complete stormwater management plan consisting of filtration, conveyance, storage and infiltration within its own product line. By utilizing three key components, engineers and their clients are able to meet the regulations of EPA’s Phase II of the Clean Water Act.

Turbidity Control & Dewatering

Turbidity curtains are floating barriers designed to control the dispersion of silt and sediment in a body of water and is typically used around construction activity, marine dredging and remediation projects. State and local regulators have mandated that turbidity be controlled and localized; curtains are the most cost effective way of doing this.

Subsurface Drainage

Our light to medium weight Geoturf® nonwoven geotextiles prove to be excellent filters, allowing subsurface water to pass into the drainage core while preventing adjacent soil from clogging the system.When properly selected, nonwoven geotextiles are effective in most soils, particularly silt and clay environments.
All CSI/Geoturf nonwoven geotextiles can be slit to width at our Highland facility on our specially constructed machine. Any width 2’ or wider. A cut charge may apply. Delivery is available.

Culvert Sliplining

The Pipe is a helical-spiral manufactured with a smooth internal and external surface inside diameter sized, hollow-wall closed profile, HDPE pipe. Standard profile pipe shall exhibit a pipe stiffness of 46 psi when tested in accordance with ASTM D-2412, and in accordance with municipal and highway specifications including ASHTO design specification. The connection is the"Thread-Loc®" connection which threads the helical spiral together forming an integral joint.
